Many misunderstandings, tensions and prejudices among people result from differences in attitude and looking only from our own narrow perspectives. We don't always take the time to understand another person's motivation and viewpoint, and jump to our own conclusions. In evaluating situations, as well as people, we also need to discriminate, and take the time to look more deeply into events. These stories help us to think about what we can do to probe deeper into understanding people and situations, and also what happens when we do not take the time to do so.
